The company has moved towards exporting its crops, starting with Egyptian pulp to the Gulf states and most Arab countries, as well as Australia, and exporting peanuts to Europe and East Asia.
The company entered the field of exporting Egyptian cotton and achieved rapid growth until it became one of the largest exporting companies.
The company started out trading in cotton, paving the way for its later expansion into this field internationally.
